By Road

Dharamshala is connected by road from Delhi, Chandigarh & Pathankot. The drive from Delhi to Dharamshala takes proximately 10 hours, from Chandigarh it is 5 hours and 2 hours from Pathankot. Distance from Delhi to Dharamshala is 526 kms & Chandigarh to Dharamshala is 255 kms and Pathankot to Dharamshala is 92 kms.

By Rail

Nearest Broad Gauge Station is Pathankot /Chakki Bank and nearest Narrow Gauge Station is Kangra.

The nearest railway station is at Kangra, 17 kms from Dharamshala which is connected to Pathankot through a narrow gauge line built in 1903, available up to Kangra which takes approximately 4 hours from Kangra. You can get a bus easily after every 15 minutes to Dharamsala which takes 25-35 minutes. The hotel is hardly 70 minutes drive from Kangra station. Pick -up facility can also be arranged from Kangra & Pathankot railway stations. The nearest broad gauge railway station is Pathankot which about 95 km from Dharamshala. Fast trains run daily from Delhi to Pathankot and from Pathankot train continues on a narrow gauge railway line.
